The Light
 
We are humans. 

All of us. Each of us, but both sides are so blinded by their fear and hate of each other that they can’t see they are all fighting for the same thing. This world can and should be a welcoming place, a safe place, a place where people can be who they are, a place where they can say what they think. Where they have the freedom to travel, to move, to see and experience new things. The world can and should be a place where people mix and share their experiences. 

Only through prosperity and respect, humanity can move forward and achieve unimaginable things. 

However, when people spread hate, when people put down, attack and discriminate people because they are different and have different ideologies we put everything at risk. We have stopped truly listening to each other. We have stopped exchanging experiences, cultures and ideas. We have stopped learning from each other and we cannot achieve peace and we cannot move forward as long as we are blinded by our own fears. 

Underneath it all, we are all different, but there is hope, love, and dreams about a better world. We don’t need to agree on our image about how the world can be a better place and we don’t need to want the same future, but we do need to see each other as we are; part of humanity. 

As long as we use hate to get our point across or condemn hate we will continue to decline as a civilization.

Written By: Puck Arks How To Dress for the Revolution As a protester a number of simple steps can help greatly in combating the efficiency of a chemical weapon's & projectiles' ability to harm you.  The following are a list of general guidelines, followed by a complete list of clothing items to bring. -Rain gear, water resistant, chemical resistant (Tyvek suit) and synthetic clothes as outer layers tend to be police chemical resistant too.  However, you can sweat a lot in non breathable clothes. -Cover up as much as possible to protect skin from tear gas or pepper spray exposure.  -Wear clinched wrist and ankle clothing. -Avoid cotton, polar-fleece and wool as outer layers, which are fuzzy and absorb chemicals. -Rinse clothes after washing well.
