As the millennial generation and an emerging middle class of two billion people grows a stronger sense of purpose, activists need to DO more. Activists have much to teach in their battle to be change.  Like many , we have a point of view, but successful activists excel by having a point of action. Today, people expect more, not just be more. "You may never know what results come of your actions, but if you do nothing, ther e will be no results." 1. Stop supporting capitalist spectacles, The Super Bowl, Reality TV etc . Talk about social resistance instead. 2. It’s easy to sit passively in front of the TV or computer, but you must remain socially active, your mind must remain conscious and alive. 3. There will be many people who will doubt you and question you, because you represent a threat to their convenient perceptions. Do not let this deter you.  4

Written By: Puck Arks How To Dress for the Revolution As a protester a number of simple steps can help greatly in combating the efficiency of a chemical weapon's & projectiles' ability to harm you.  The following are a list of general guidelines, followed by a complete list of clothing items to bring. -Rain gear, water resistant, chemical resistant (Tyvek suit) and synthetic clothes as outer layers tend to be police chemical resistant too.  However, you can sweat a lot in non breathable clothes. -Cover up as much as possible to protect skin from tear gas or pepper spray exposure.  -Wear clinched wrist and ankle clothing. -Avoid cotton, polar-fleece and wool as outer layers, which are fuzzy and absorb chemicals. -Rinse clothes after washing well. All around the world, hundreds of thousands of people care deeply about the state of the world and earth and are doing everything they can to end abuse, inequality, oppression, starvation and endless wars through greed Our individual actions can be hugely powerful, but when we act together, we can achieve even more! Don’t wait for permission to take action on the issues that matter to you. Be proactive.  1. You may have many friends who insist on remaining ignorant and belligerent in their support of consumerism. Don't give up on them.  2. Instead of spending evenings like zombies in front of the television, read and educate yourself.  3. Make a list of 10 injustices that come to mind when you think of the American Dream, explore how you can tackle these injustices. 4. Cut down on consumption, it is difficult to become socially conscious if the disease of consumption is
