ACTivism: The Revolution

Whenever people attempt to use violence as an option for the Revolution one must understand that

By placing confidence in violent means, one has chosen the very type of struggle with which the oppressors nearly always have superiority.”

Governments are equipped and programmed to use violence to suppress any uprisings. This is one of many reasons that change will only come through peaceful means. We must utilize and learn how to effectively work with what we are equipped with using psychological weapons, propaganda, social media, economic means and political discourse as our weapons of change. These tactics are ultimately more powerful against oppression, injustice, and tyranny than any violent measures.

We must rely upon our own determination and make certain sacrifices if we are to stand together as one voice. We must lift others up and strengthen those amongst ourselves who may be weaker than others. Alphas creating more Alphas if you will. We also must band together, organize and learn to communicate effectively through private means.

Everyone has their strengths so lastly we should be encouraging those who have knowledge or a certain skill set to use them for the common goal of change. Against a strong self-reliant force, given an organized strategy, disciplined unity, courageous action, and genuine desire what is will eventually crumble.

“It is no longer a choice, my friends, between violence and nonviolence. It is either nonviolence or nonexistence. World peace through non-violent means is neither absurd nor unattainable. All other methods have failed. Thus we must begin anew. Non-violence is a good starting point. Those of us who believe in this method can be voices of reason, sanity and understanding amid the voices of violence, hatred and emotion. We can very well set a mood of peace out of which a system of peace can be built. Racial injustice around the world. Poverty. War. When man solves these three great problems he will have squared his moral progress with his scientific progress. And more importantly, he will have learned the practical art of living in harmony.” -MLK
